MPCA Holds 4th Council Meeting of Its 4th Term at Commend Machinery

More than 60 council members of the Meizhou Printed Circuit Association (MPCA) gathered at Jiangxi Commend Machinery in Yudu County, Ganzhou, on 17 October 2026 for the association’s fourth council meeting of its fourth term. Commend Machinery hosted the meeting as the association’s newest vice-president unit; the day combined a memorial visit, a full factory tour, the council session and an investment promotion event with Yudu County officials.

Morning: memorial park and the new Jiangxi plant

Yudu County organised the morning programme. Delegates first visited the Central Red Army Long March departure memorial park, laid wreaths at the monument, watched the scene performance Farewell at the Dongmen ferry crossing and toured the Long March departure memorial hall. 2026 marks the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, and the association held its 2024 council meeting in Jinggangshan — the second consecutive council meeting at a revolutionary heritage site.

The delegation then toured Commend Machinery’s new Jiangxi plant, the company’s mainland China manufacturing base. Members walked the assembly shops and saw the automatic plating lines that make up the company’s PCB wet-process range, discussing how automation, energy efficiency and chemical consumption affect the cost per square metre of a plating line.

Council session: work report and new office holders

Chairman He Deying opened the afternoon session at the Red Culture Training Centre. He thanked Commend Machinery for hosting and reviewed the association’s role in linking government and member companies, and in extending, completing and strengthening the Meizhou PCB supply chain.

Secretary-General Han Zhiwei presented the work report for the first half of 2026, covering party building, council and general meetings, technical seminars, member recruitment drives, school-enterprise cooperation, policy and funding applications, and member services. Supervisor Lin Jingbo reported on the association’s finances for the same period.

The council approved two promotions: Jiangxi Commend Machinery was elevated to vice-president unit, and Meizhou Hongli Circuit Board to council member. Certificates were presented by Chairman He Deying.

Commend Machinery general manager Zhu Maoxiong introduced the company’s development: rooted in Taiwan and based in Yudu, it positions the Jiangxi site as its mainland core base, delivering automatic plating equipment together with local engineering support. He also presented recent work on inner-layer pattern plating film, process and cost — part of the company’s push into higher-end PCB markets.

Investment promotion and evening programme

Yudu County party secretary Li Songbai, county head Wang Yujun and other county officials attended the investment promotion session. Wang welcomed the delegation, noting that Ganzhou is the cradle of Hakka culture and Meizhou the world’s Hakka capital, and invited members to locate projects, technology and teams in Yudu.

Honorary president Xu Huan of Bomin Electronics shared his read of the PCB market: supply-chain security, process specification and supply bottlenecks on the cost side, and AI demand, material price increases, inventory and cash management on the opportunity side.
